• Sampling and testing for certification and seed law enforcement and referee testing at the Central Seed
Testing Laboratory.
• Establishment of grow-out test plots
• Grant certificates as prescribed in the Seed Act, Seed Rules and Regulations
• Setting seed quality standards and enforcement of National Minimum Standards
• Formulation and Development of policies, regulations, rules, concepts and initiatives for seed certification,
